LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — New wave icons Culture Club have canceled their upcoming North American and U.K. tour dates after a polyp was found in frontman Boy George's throat.
"The throat specialist has ordered George to not sing as it may necessitate an operation," a statement reads. "George and the band are devastated by this news and so it is with much regret that the tour is canceled until further notice."
The group had been set to tour in November and December but hope to push the tour back into 2015. Their latest studio album Tribes is set to be released in early 2015. – Staff Writers
