LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — LiveXLive Media, the live music and music-related video content company, announced the appointment of industry veteran Tim Spengler to the firm’s board of directors.
Prior to his appointment, Spengler held senior roles at numerous media and advertising technology firms and in the music industry. Spengler will join LiveXLive’s current board members Chairman Robert Ellin and directors Jay Krigsman and Craig Foster.
Most recently Mr. Spengler served as the President and Chief Revenue Officer of Simulmedia, a company focused on data-optimized audience targeting for national TV advertising. Prior to that, he was President of Content Marketing and Revenue Strategy for iHeart Media.
Earlier in his career, Spengler did a nearly two-decade stint with marketing giant IPG, holding a number of roles, including ncluding President, North America for Initiative from 2008 to 2012 and Worldwide Chief Executive Officer for MAGNA GLOBAL from 2012 to 2013.
Spengler currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Hollywood Radio & Television Society and National Association of Television Program Executives. He is also on the advisory board of emerging media companies Influential Social and IgnitionOne.
