(CelebrityAccess) – Sony Music has signed a multi-million dollar deal with Tha Lights Global, the company co-founded by Dooney Battle, best known for managing Lil Pump.
Under the terms of the new contract, TLG will now be able to place or distribute its artists through any of Sony’s properties including Columbia, Epic and RCA Records.
According to a report originally published by Variety, the deal was said to have involved multiple bidders and a price tag exceeding 10s of millions of dollars.
Also according to that report, it looks like the first TLG/Sony co-venture has been confirmed as Dominic Fike, who has now signed to Columbia Records. It is also anticipated that Lil Pump himself will make the move to Sony once his contractual obligations to Warner Bros. Records have expired.
