LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — R&B queen Rihanna is the latest artist to throw her weight behind trying to convince Americans to register to vote in what seemed to be tacit support for Democratic candidates in the upcoming midterm elections.

On Tuesday, Rihanna posted an image via her Instagram showing the final day to register to vote in all 50 states and reminded her social media cadre that Oct. 9th was the final day for registration in 14 states – Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas.

“I don’t care what responsibilities you have today, there’s no greater responsibility than being in control of your future and your future starts now!” she wrote in the caption for the image. “We don’t have time, no procrastinating, don’t let the discouragement take you off course, that’s not how my people or my generation will go down…this is the loudest way to make your voice heard!”

It’s not a secret that Rihanna has been supportive of the Democratic cause in the past. While, as a native of Barbados, she is unable to vote herself, she has previously shown support for Hillary Clinton and spoken out against the immigration policies of President Trump.

Elections will take place in the U.S. on Nov. 6th.
