NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Crossover singer, songwriter and record producer Jon Bellion announced plans for a headlining 35-date North American tour next summer entitled The Glory Sound Prep Tour.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on June 12 at the Met in Philadelphia an includes performances in markets such as Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Boston, as well as an August 10 hometown show at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater on Long Island.

Bellion will be touring in support of his second studio album, Glory Sound Prep, which dropped last week via Capitol Records/Visionary Music Group.

It features collaborations producer Quincy Jones, Roc Marciano, RZA, B. Keyz, and Travis Mendes, and singles include “Conversations with my Wife,” “JT” and “Stupid Deep.”

The album is the follow-up to Bellion’s RIAA Gold-certified 2016 debut album, The Human Condition, which has sold more than 1.5 million adjusted albums and has been streamed more than 1.7bn times.

Bellion got his start with a series of mixtapes featuring his original songs – all recorded in his parent’s basement. His first mixtape was Scattered Thoughts Vol. 1, which he released in 2011 via his Facebook page and within a year, he’d secured a recording contract with Visionary Music Group in 2012.

He followed up his initial success by penning the hit “The Monster” for an Eminem collaboration with Rihanna and headlined his first national tour in 2014.
