NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) A judge in New York City has rejected a motion to dismiss charges of sexual assault against former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, ruling that criminal prosecution against him can move forward, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Weinstein has been accused by dozens of women of sexual misconduct and was arrested by the New York Police Department in May and charged in Manhattan with three assaults on three different women in 2004, 2006 and 2013. One of the charges was eventually dropped because of inconsistent testimony.

Weinstein was indicted in July and the charges were in addition to a previous indictment that included counts of rape in the first and third degrees, as well as criminal sexual act in the first degree, for forcible sexual acts against two women in 2013 and 2004, respectively.
