(CelebrityAccess) – Concord Music’s Craft Recordings has announced the launch of a Latin music division, Craft Recordings Latino.

Overseeing the company’s new division is former Fania Records GM Bruce McIntosh who has been hired as VP, Latin Catalogue. McIntosh will work out of Craft’s new Miami office.

Additional hires include Craig Hammond as VP, commercial development and Laura Saez as VP, content development & strategy. Both will work out of the company’s Beverly Hills headquarters and report to label president Sig Sigworth.

Hammond, who previously served as senior director, sales & commercial development at Concord Music, will be responsible for identifying and driving catalogue initiatives and new business opportunities, while Saez, formerly SVP, digital partnerships at EMI, will oversee a strategic framework for content distribution and partnerships in media and technology, with a focus on brand expansion, increased profitability and revenue growth.

Commenting on the company’s recent expansion, Sigworth said in a statement: “The launching of Craft Latino in Miami under Bruce’s leadership was an obvious next step in our continued growth in the Latin music business, while Craig and Laura will bring their unique skill sets to the entire Craft catalogue to help ensure greater success for our artists, both commercially and creatively.”

Craft Recordings was launched in April 2017 as Concord Music’s official reissues label. The expansion follows Concord’s recent purchase of Salsa/Latin label Fania Records and the 2016 acquisition of Musart Music Group.
