LONG BEACH, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Promoters Goldenvoice announced the lineup for their upcoming Just Like Heaven festival, which features a who’s who of indie rockers from the last decade.
The one-day fest, which takes place on May 4th at Queen Mary Park in Long Beach, features headliners Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, MGMT, and Beach House.
Filling out the bill for the inaugural edition of Just Like Heaven are Passion Pit, Grizzly Bear, The Rapture, The Faint, Peter Bjorn and John, Mike Snow, Neon Indian, Washed Out, Tokyo Police Club, and STRFKR, among others.
Tickets for the all-ages soiree go on sale Friday, Feb. 8 at 10:00 a.m Pacific time and will set you back $99 for a general admission pass or $225 for VIP access.
The festival is one in a series “boutique” style festivals (think 15,000 or fewer fans) events planned for Queen Mary Park after Goldenvoice signed a deal to produce events there at the end of 2017. When Goldenvoice announced the deal, Dan Eisenstein, director of entertainment events for Urban Commons told the Press-Telegram the current plan will see three or four larger scale multi-day festivals outside the ship each year and as well as several smaller events staged onboard the ship.
