PITTSBURGH, PA (CelebrityAccess) — “Glamorous Life” rocker Sheila E. has been announced as the headliner for the third annual Women who Rock Benefit Concert Presented by UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
Set for May 30th, the concert will take place at Stage AE in downtown Pittsburgh and will also feature performances from Lindsey Smith, DJ Jess, and the Sounds of Pittsburgh Chorus, with WDVE radio personality Michele Michaels serving as the host for the festivities.
During the concert, the Women who Rock award will be presented to Sharon L. Hillier, Ph.D. The concert will also the Women who Rock Rising Star Contest showcasing up-and-coming female singers/songwriters, the Beauty Bar, and the WwR auction.

Proceeds from the concert will go to support the Magee-Womens Research Institute, the largest research institute in the U.S. focused solely on women’s and infants’ health and its mission to improve health outcomes for women and infants.
