LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Knitting Factory Entertainment announced that industry veteran Barry Berkowitz has rejoined the company as Senior VP of Business Strategy and Sponsorship.
Berkowitz will focus on helping KFE, their clients and sponsors with developing strategies and looking for new revenue streams for the company. His portfolio will also include looking for potential acquisition deals and building the brand as a whole.
He will report directly to longtime KFE President/CEO Morgan Margolis and CFO Chris Sherman.
“Having Barry back in a much greater focused senior leadership role with KFE is exactly what we need to help propel our company’s strategies forward,” said Margolis. “We’re excited to have him back on board and working directly with me and our teams.”
Berkowitz is no stranger to the KFE team and previously served as VP Business Development at the company from 2016-2017.
His other recent gigs include a slew of senior roles in digital marketing, including stints as EVP of Loyalty & Partnerships for the digital marketing platform Sweet; SVP, Managing Director for the Western Region at PrizeLogic; and co-founder and CEO of personal digital rewards platform, Digigraph.me.
Berkowitz received a BA from Lehigh University in 1989 and a JD from Brooklyn Law School in 1993. He’s a frequent industry speaker, a voracious social media user, an Advisory Board member of recording industry charity “Musicians On Call” and he’s occasionally been known to cook the finest crispy chicken sandwiches anywhere on the planet.
