MILWAUKEE (CelebrityAccess) – Nonprofit organization Recovery-Music has announced the launch of a new project aimed at alleviating the nation’s addiction crisis.

The organization plans to provide a unique combination of originally-created songs focused on recovery, as well as a new website (Recovery-Music.org, which is currently in development) to provide a wide range of content, credible information, encouragement and insights that are all oriented towards assisting addicts, their families, friends and others concerned with the problems of addiction.

According to the organization, recent data has shown that there are more than 20 million addicts in the US, most of whom require treatment, however, don’t seek it out.

“Our effort to get them to recognize the need to do that is critical to what can be a life-or-death decision,” says Chip Yunke, founder of Recovery-Music. “If we can save one life, our effort will be worth it. But we expect to have a much bigger impact.”

The organization relies entirely on donations and is using Kickstarter to raise contributions. For more information or to donate click HERE.
