(CelebrityAccess) – Amazon Music is now available on the Apple TV, including both the Apple TV 4K and the Apple TV HD (running version tvOS 12.0 or later), Amazon has revealed.
The announcement comes just days after Spotify announced its own app for the Apple TV.
Amazon Music listeners using Apple TV (which can now be downloaded from the App Store) will be able to access Amazon’s full catalog of songs and stations, along with a variety of popular global playlists. Additionally, customers will be able to access all their purchased and imported music available in their “My Music” library, and follow along with scrolling lyrics within the app.
“We believe that listeners should be able to stream music simply and easily on any device they choose,” said Karolina Joynathsing, director of business development for Amazon Music. “With that in mind, our aim has been to bring listeners more ways to enjoy their favourite music. We’re thrilled to bring the Amazon Music app to Apple TV customers across the globe.”
The Amazon Music app for Apple TV is currently available the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and India.
