LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Gary Clark Jr., Foo Fighters, H.E.R., John Legend, and John Mayer have been announced for the lineup for the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert honoring Aerosmith.
Other artists announced for the tribute concert, which is slated for Jan. 24 in Los Angeles, include rock legend Alice Cooper, the Jonas Brothers, Emily King and Yola.
Proceeds from the annual event, which is held during Grammy week, go to support MusiCares in its mission to provide health care and other services to members of the music community.
The Person of the Year gala will begin with a reception and silent auction offering an exclusive and unparalleled selection of luxury items, VIP experiences and one-of-a-kind celebrity memorabilia for bidding guests.
The reception, along with a silent auction sponsored by Delta Air Lines — the official airline of Person of the Year — will be followed by a gala dinner sponsored by AEG, a tribute concert featuring noted musicians and other artists, and the award presentation.
Greg Phillinganes will serve as musical director for the event.
