ATLANTIC CITY (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation has reportedly signed a new three-year deal to continue bringing concerts to the beach in Atlantic City.
According to NJ Advance Media, officials with the New Jersey’s Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) announced the $1.8 million agreement during a board meeting late Tuesday.
The deal includes an unspecified three-day event next summer and details $800,000 to be used for concerts in 2020, with the remaining $1 million split evenly for entertainment events in 2021 and 2022, Advanced Media reported.
“Last summer, we saw representation from all 50 states and other parts of the world travel to Atlantic City for the two-day (Vans) Warped Tour event,” regional president for Live Nation Philadelphia, Geoff Gordon said in a statement sent to NJ Advance Media. “Whether it’s at the Atlantic City Beach, Boardwalk Hall, the Atlantic City Convention Center or one of the many outstanding casino properties, we’re thrilled to continue our partnership.”
Live Nation has been bringing concert entertainment to the beach in Atlantic City for the past five years, with artists such as Maroon 5 and Pink performing in front of thousands of fans.
