LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – President and CEO Tyler Bacon announced today that Alex “A-Bomb” Fernandez has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Position Music. The GRAMMY Award-winning and four-time nominated producer and songwriter has achieved widespread success as a member of the producing duo CASHÆ and has collaborated across genres such as Latin, hip-hop, pop, K-pop, and dance.
Hailing from Puerto Rico and Miami, Fernandez started in the music industry as a guitarist, lead vocalist, and songwriter for punk rock bands FATE (Five Across The Eyes) and 24 Hours To Live. Alongside Joseph Barrios, Fernandez formed CASHÆ in 2016. The duo’s work on the Eladio Carrion album Monarca earned them a Latin GRAMMY nomination in 2021. The following year, the CASHÆ cut “Si Me La Haces” on the Sebastian Yatra album Dharma topped the Spotify Global and US charts. The album won a Latin GRAMMY for Best Pop Album and a GRAMMY Award for Best Latin Pop Album. Earlier this year, the duo co-produced “‘Easy” by LE SSERAFIM, which debuted at #1 on Apple Music and YouTube, #6 on Billboard Global 200, #2 on Spotify USA & Global, and was the group’s first entry into the Hot 100. CASHÆ also co-produced four songs on Carrion’s latest album, Sol María, which debuted at #1 on Billboard. The duo earned a platinum record for the Carrion hit “No Te Deseo el Mal” featuring Karol G, which reached #1 in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. CASHÆ’s discography boasts 57 credits and over 748 million streams to date.
