NOBLESVILLE, IN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — 33 people were arrested at a May 22nd Gretchen Wilson concert at Indiana’s Verizon Wireless Music Center, for mostly underage alcohol violations and public drunkenness.
In a sweep by the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission’s excise police law-enforcement division, 23 people who are 18- to 20-years-old were issued summons for possession of alcohol. Five more were cited for underage drinking, one for public intoxication, and one for possession of marijuana, according to the Noblesville Ledger.
Additionally, four adults were cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Excise police will continue to have a presence at several concerts at the Verizon this summer, according to Lt. Tom Newgent, especially at shows where underage drinking is expected to be involved. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
