TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — Universal Music Publishing Group has hired Canadian A&R/creative executive Adam Fujiki to head the company’s publishing operation in Canada in a new role as Director, Creative/A&R.
Fujiki, who will assume his new post immediately, will step in for UPMG's Shawn Marino, who is moving over to the label side as VP of A&R at Universal Music Canada.
A veteran A&R exec, Fujiki most recently worked as a producer/manager Doc McKinney and DM2 Management, where he supported Corbin (FKA Spooky Black) and Psymun.
Prior to this, he had various roles in creative at Sony Music Entertainment Canada, including a stint as Acting Head of A&R. – Staff Writers
