The Gersh Agency has made several promotions within the company, including the promotion of three agents: Chris Fioto and Carlos Gonzalez have been promoted to talent agents and Ethan J. Antonucci was upped to literary agent.
Since 2004, Fioto was the talent department coordinator. Gonzalez had also been a talent department coordinator. He previously worked at Diverse Talent Group. Antonucci got his start in the mailroom, moving up to feature literary department coordinator.
Also promoted were Greg Pedicin to feature literary coordinator, Nate Steadman to talent coordinator, Abram Nalibotsky to vice president in the motion picture literary department and Matthew Blake to vice president of the comedy department. –Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
Dan DeVita Joins TKO
(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Hard rock manager Dan Devita has joined The Kirby Organization as the Los Angeles-based company’s newest agent.
DeVita brings to the company an intensive background in international and domestic touring and nearly two decades of music industry experience.
“I’ve known Dan for many years now, and we’ve enjoyed working closely with him as a manager and client,” says TKO President/CEO Dave Kirby. “He’s audacious, pushy and generally refuses to take no for an answer…bottom line, he’s the perfect agent. In his new role, Dan will utilize his excellent relationships with promoters from around the globe, which were nurtured over years of touring virtually every worldwide market.”
With management experience and a decade of behind-the-scenes work, planning and maintaining tours and campaigns for artists such as Anthrax, Duff McKagan, Life Of Agony, Ice Cube and Mack 10, DeVita is expected to make an immediate impact at TKO. DeVita will report directly to Dave Kirby in the company’s Los Angeles office.
