Arrest Made In Ultra Lounge Shootings

LITTLE ROCK, Ark (CelebrityAccess) — Police have arrested an individual suspected of firing the first shot in a mass shooting that took place at a rap concert in Little Rock last July.

According to ABC affiliate KATV, Little Rock police arrested 19-year-old Tyler Jackson on Wednesday. Jackson is facing three counts of second-degree battery and six counts of aggravated assault

Investigators allege that Jackson fired at least nine shots, hitting three people. Police said they believe other people discharged weapons at Ultra Lounge and said the investigation is still active, KATV reported.

Jackson is the second person to be arrested in relation to the Power Ultra nightclub mass shooting that injured 28 people during a concert by Ricky Hampton, 25, of Memphis, Tennessee who raps under the stage name Finese2Tymes.

Hampton’s bodyguard, Kentrell Gwynn, previously was charged with 10 counts of aggravated assault in connection with the shooting and Hampton faces unrelated charges in connection with a separate shooting incident at a nightclub in Arkansas.
