MELBOURNE, Australia (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Australian talent agency Artist Voice, has opened a new office in Melbourne, which will he helmed by Dave Batty.
Located on Collins Street in downtouwn Melbourne, the new office will cater to Melbourne-based artists.
"We wanted to set up a location for the agency in Melbourne for some time, given the city's importance to the live music scene in Australia," said Artist Voice CEO Bretty Murrihy in a statement. "This provides us with the best resources to service our many clients based in Melbourne and also provides us greater access to A&R opportunities."
The Melbourne office will bring the company's total to five, with other offices located in Sydney, Auckland, Hong Kong and Singapore.
In addition to the new office, Artist Voice also announced a number of new signings, including brother and sister duo Angus & Julia Stone; pop-electronic artist Ladyhawke, two of the members of the group Pond and Tame Impala and emerging electronic artist Ta-Ku.
As well, Artist Voice is also now representing the Glasgow-based electronic outfit Chvrches and New-Zealand recording artist Neil Finn. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
