Australian Festivals Face Fence Jumpers

SYDNEY (CelebrityAccess) — Two Australian festivals experienced mass fence jumping incidents in September, including one that left a security guard with serious injuries.

At another Listen Out Festival in Perth, a lare group of would-be festival-goers stood by a fence and shook it until it collapses, letting at least 20 people enter the festival sans ticket.

Fuzzy events, who promotes the Listen Out events, said that they ramped up security at their events after the first gatecrash.

"We assume it is likely at every event … and we keep our eyes and ears open for groups organising on social media," director of Fuzzy Events John Wall told The Herald. "In Sydney [at Listen Out] we had 200 security guards and 129 police, and after the incident we increased security in other cities." – Staff Writers
