MADRID (CelebrityAccess) — Former Smiths frontman Morrissey revealed in an interview that he's battling cancer.
"They have scraped cancerous tissues four times already, but whatever," the singer told Spanish newspaper El Mundo. "If I die, then I die. And if I don't, then I don't. Right now I feel good. I am aware that in some of my recent photos I look somewhat unhealthy, but that's what illness can do. I'm not going to worry about that, I'll rest when I'm dead."
The singer did not further elaborate on his condition, what type of cancer he was battling, or what treatments he was undergoing.
Cancer joins the list of other ailments Morrissey has been forced to deal with and in recent years, he has canceled two tours due to health reasons. He has been reported to have a bleeding ulcer, pneumonia and food poisoning in 2013 alone.
Morrissey is currently on a tour across Europe, supporting his latest album "World Peace is None of Your Business." – Staff Writers
