SPAIN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Sun drenched Benicassim, Spain served as a perfect location for this year's 12th Annual Festival Internacional de Benicàssim.
The festival, which ran from July 20 to the 23rd sold out two months in advance. Most of the tickets sold were in Spain but the Brits also made up a surprisingly large segment of the audience, which has been attributed to the lack of a Glastonbury this year.
Music spanned genres from Depeche Mode, The Kooks and the Pixies to DJs such as Belgian duo 2 Many DJs and Miss Kitten.
The Pixies set was nearly cut short when a crowd barrier gave way but 20 minutes of quick repairs and the Pixies were back on for a monster finish. – CelebrityAccess staff writers.
