Britney's New Faux Single

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Officials at Jive Records have disavowed a single that has been circulating the Internet on YouTube and other websites which purports to be a leaked preview from Britney's upcoming album. The track, entitled "Fed Up" was posted on YouTube last Wednesday and pulled in more than a million hits in a matter of days and by Thursday, it had started to get some rotation on radio.

Earlier this week, a new track, called "Fed Up" appeared on the net. Claiming to be a preview from Britney's forthcoming album. Appearing on video site YouTube, the track took off, picking up a million hits within a matter of days. By Thursday, the track was starting to get airplay on radio stations; it seemed like another successful experiment in viral marketing of music on the 'net. The problem was that it wasn't Britney at all.

Britney's label Jive Records has disavowed the track, which turns out to be a demo written and produced by musicians Adam and Jesse Blockton. The duo have subsequently claimed that they are not aware of how it ended up on the internet. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
