LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Music industry veteran Bruce Solar has joined the Agency For The Performing Arts as an Executive Vice President with ovesight of worldwide music for the agency. In his new role, Solar will continue to expand on APA’s successful Concerts division both in the U.S. and abroad.
“Bruce is one of the most successful and respected music industry executives in the business,” commented Gosnell in making the announcement. “I’ve admired his extraordinary talents and leadership for many years, and could not be more pleased to have him now joining our team.”

Solar currently represents a roster that includes The Monkees, Psychedelic Furs, Bootsy Collins and numerous other internationally recognized artists.
Solar began his career in the music industry at the Harry Chickles Agency in Boston, booking numerous acts including John Lee Hooker and Willie Dixon. In the mid-90’s, he moved to Absolute Artists, where he oversaw operations for the very successful boutique agency representing numerous legendary artists. In 2001, Solar joined The Agency Group where he spent the next 14 years, most recently serving as the head of the agency's Los Angeles offices. – Staff Writers
