CAA Pacts With 49ers, & Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment In New Sports Hospitality Venture

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) — The San Francisco 49ers, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, and Creative Artists Agency have partnered to launch Elevate Sports Ventures, a ‘services’ company aimed at the premium sports and entertainment market.

The new company will offer a suite of services in areas including stadium licenses/personal seat licenses, premium ticketing, and corporate hospitality.

Elevate Sports will be led by sports industry veteran and current President of the San Francisco 49ers Al Guido, who will serve as a CEO and managing partner at the company. The executive suite will also include HBSE CEO Scott O’Neil; CAA Sports’ Co-Heads Howard Nuchow and Michael Levine, and CAA Sports’ Global Head of Sales Paul Danforth, as Co-Managing Partners.

The new venture will have offices in Silicon Valley, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, New York, and London.

The deal is notable in that CAA, which typically is involved in negotiating deals between professional athletes and professional sports teams, will now be business partners with some of those same teams.

“I am thrilled to partner with the leadership teams at CAA and Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment to bring Elevate Sports Ventures and comprehensive business solutions to the sports and entertainment world,” said Guido. “Our collective services and global experience working with teams, leagues, brands, colleges, venues, and owners will provide decision-makers with a full-service partner to identify new revenue opportunities and bring innovative ideas to market.”

The financial details of the new venture were not disclosed.
