Cancer Benefit Set For Nashville's Ryman Auditorium


NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — On November 7th Nashville's Ryman Auditorium will host Let Us In, a benefit for The Women and Cancer Fund, which was established in the memory of Linda McCartney.


Blue Sky Riders (Kenny Loggins, Georgia Middleman and Gary Burr) are the most recent edition to benefit's lineup, which already includes Phil Vassar, Steel Magnolia, SHeDaisy, Sarah Darling , Jordyn Shellhart and Chuck Wicks. Additionally, the evening’s core house band will include some of Nashville’s best journeymen musicians: Chad Cromwell, Russ Pahl, Kenny Greenberg, Eli Beaird, Mike Rojas and Jeff Smith and the evening will be hosted by actor Jeff Daniels.


Each artist will perform their own rendition of a Sir Paul McCartney song and well as additional songs from their respective catalog. Tuesday, November 8th will see the release of the recorded songs via a traditional brick and mortar outlets – distributed by BDG which is distributed by RED Distribution LLC (as well as various digital outlets). The “Let Us In” benefit event will be recorded and released as a live DVD as well.


The Women and Cancer Fund (thewomenandcancerfund.org) is a not-for-profit charity led by Dr. Alicia Alvarez and Sir Paul McCartney has given his "whole-heated blessing" to all upcoming projects, the producer Reviver Music (revivermusic.com) is undertaking. The Ryman Nov. 7th "Let Us In" benefit is the first event and there are other charity-related projects in the planning stages for 2012.
