PERTH, AU (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Ticket sales for Chris Brown's upcoming show in Perth have been so slow that the show's promoters are being prompted to try to sweeten the pot. Brown is scheduled to play at the at Burswood Dome on May 3rd with Jess Mauboy, Justice Crew and DJ Havana Brown.
According to the Perth Sunday Times, the show's promoter are now offering 3-for-1 deals on tickets for the show in an effort to put butts in seats.
Promoter Daniel Pritchard is blaming Brown's poor box office showing on the fact that numerous urban artists, including Rihanna and Usher have played in the market recently.
Pritchard noted that he did not believe Brown's recent public behavior has been affecting sales. According to Pritchard, sales actually tripled after Brown trashed a dressing room on "Good Morning America" recently.
Pritchard added that there was 'no chance' that the show would be moved to a smaller venue. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
