NASHVILLE, (CelebrityAccess) — Country music artist Craig Morgan has canceled 10 of his July tour dates following the death of his 19-year-old son.
The canceled dates include shows in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Utah, Oregan, Nevada, California, Florida, and Alabama and included both festival dates and venue shows. Morgan was on the road in support of his recently released A Whole Lot More to Me album, which includes singles “I’ll Be Home Soon” and “When I’m Gone.”
Morgan's son Jerry was killed in an boating accident on Kentucky Lake in Tennessee on July 10.
“The family is grateful for everyone’s support and prayers and requests privacy during this difficult time," Morgan's publicist said. – Staff Writers
