NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Digital distribution company The Orchard announced that they have appointed Tucker McCrady as EVP & General Counsel.
McCrady has been tasked with overseeing The Orchard's Business & Legal Affairs functions and will be based out of the company's New York offices, reporting to Brad Navin, CEO of The Orchard.
Prior to joining The Orchard, McCrady was a partner with law firm Greenberg Traurig, where he worked on the legal team representing streaming music platform Soundcloud. McCrady specializes in licensing digital services and the monetization of music.
Prior to Greenberg Traurig, LLP, McCrady was at Warner Music Group for six and a half years, where he was associate counsel of digital legal affairs, later managing litigation for the company worldwide as VP. He also served for five years on the Board of Directors of SoundExchange.
