NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — On August 22nd, Nashville's Belcourt Theater played host to the premier of Dave Stewart's new documentary "The RIngmaster General."
The legendary British musician was on hand with his wife Anoushka, as well as industry professionals and artists including Martina and John McBride, Vince Gill, Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon, Chord Overstreet of Hot Chelle Rae, guitarist Orianthi, Travis McNab from the Sugarland band, and singer songwriters Jesse Baylin and Karen Elson.
The documentary offered a behind the scenes view of the making of the two albums Stewart recorded during two five day sessions: John and Martina McBride’s Blackbird Studios in Nashville: 2011's Blackbird Diaries and the forthcoming RIngmaster General, which is set for release on September 4th in the U.S. and September 3rd in Europe. Numerous artists cross paths with Stewart over the course of the film, including Alison Krauss, Martina McBride, Colbie Caillat, The Secret Sisters, Joss Stone, Stevie Nicks, Jessie Baylin, Diane Birch and Orianthi.
Stewart will also be hitting the road with Sugarland for a very brief outing with just three U.S. dates:
