CHICAGO (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Derek Becker, founder of Chicago-based Satellite Booking, has been tapped to join the team at the Windish Agency.
A veteran in the Chicago market, Becker founded Satellite Booking there in 2003. He started off booking tours and developing local artists but soon expanded into representing a range of national and international acts, including The Clean, Silver Jews, Pit Er Pat, and Viva Voce.
A number of Becker's clients will make the jump with him, including Baby Dee, Bert Jansch, Extra Golden, LAKE, Mucca Pazza, Rafter, and Wovenhand. Becker will officially start with the Windish team commencing on July 13th.
