NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Metal bands Dethklok, Lamb of God and Gojira have been forced to cancel their upcoming tour due to Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe's continuing incarceration in the Czech Republic.
Blythe was in Prague in June for a show when he was arrested in connection with an investigation of a fan's death during a previous Lamb of God show in 2010. According to press reports, a man attempted to climb on the stage during the show and was allegedly pushed off stage by Blythe and later died of head injuries sustained in the fall.
Blythe made bail but the amount of the bail has been appealed by prosecutors who consider Blythe to be a flight risk as a foreigner.
According to a stement released by the band, the tour, which was set to kick off on August 1st in Seattle is being canceled and will be rebooked upon Blythe's release. The band stated that they also plan to to participate in the Mayhem Cruise in December. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
