Dolly Parton has postponed her New Year's Eve all-star bluegrass concert at the Grand Ole Opry House to benefit children whose parents were killed or injured in the September 11 terrorist attacks (CelebrityAccess, October 11).
"Many of the artists and musicians were already committed to family gatherings or other concert appearances," Parton said. "All of us involved want to put on the best show possible, so we decided to reschedule."
The show, which will benefit the Families for Freedom Fund, which provides scholarships, will be moved to Spring 2002.
