LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — After last week's news of the sale of Impresario's festival portfolio to the media and entertainment group Global, Edition Capital, who served as financial advisors on the deal, have announced the creation of an investment fund aimed at the media and entertainment sectors.
According to a statement released by Edition, the new fund, targeted at 20 million initially, will focus on the live entertainment, television, venues and immersive media sectors, and span both profitable and pre-profit businesses.
Edition's team are no strangers to the live market and in recent months, have served as strategic partners for events such as Bestival and its sister events including Camp Bestival and Common People, and the Field Day Festival. They are also advising clients in the recorded music sector such as Cooking Vinyl.
