(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Entertainer and comic impressionist Fred Travalena was taken from a cruise ship in Cape Canaveral, FL, for an emergency appendectomy this week.
The operation was successful and he is healing nicely.
While he was in the hospital, his son and daughter-in-law gave birth to his first grandchild, Sophia Travalena.
Travalena is known for his impressions and comedy from national television appearances to headline engagements from Atlantic City to Las Vegas and has also released multiple CD's of patriotic, spiritual and contemporary music.
