CANNES, France (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Management for UK dance act Faithless has announced that the group split with their label Sony BMG last year and is likely going to ride solo for the foreseeable future.
According to Billboard, Brian Message of U.K.-based management company Courtyard made the announcement at a press conference at this years' MIDEM, just ahead of his keynote address. Message also works with Kate Nash and Radiohead. Radiohead made news last year when they decided to release their latest album on the 'net for whatever fans felt it was fair to pay for it.
Message suggested that Faithless might try a similar gambit with their next release as a way of building their profile in some markets.
