KINGSTON, Ontario (CelebrityAccess) — After the Tragically Hip announced their farewell tour earlier, it quickly became one of the hottest tickets, selling out shows left and right, and unavoidably leaving many fans out in the cold.
Fortunately, thanks to the CBC, said fans will have some recourse after the broadcaster announced that the final show of The Tragically Hip's Man Machine Poem Tour in Kingston, Ontario on August 20th will be broadcast live.
The Canadian public broadcaster will provide live coverage of the show, commercial free on CBC Television, CBC Radio One, CBC Radio 2, CBC’s YouTube channels, and cbcmusic.ca, according to a press release from the broadcaster.
