ACAPULCO, Mexico (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The Foro Imperial theatre is helping to put the sunny Mexican resort city of Acapulco back on the map for touring artists and fans alike.
The 4,000 seat, 18,000 square meter state-of-the-art theatre has been designed to create an intimate atmosphere for live performances, leaving no spectator more than 35 meters from the stage and is a part of the new entertainment and business complex, Mundo Imperial.
In addition to theatre, the complex includes a brand new, 800-room luxury hotel, and new expo center which features more 750,000 sq. ft. square feet of total exhibit hall & meeting room space. Also in the works for the complex are a retail promenade and an health and beauty spa.
"It'll be Las Vegas-style," said SMG's Gregg Caren to a trade publication "a Mandalay Bay without the gambling." SMG has been brought aboard to manage the facility. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
