PITTSBURGH, PA (CelebrityAccess) — AEG Facilities has appointed Gary Desjardins as the general manager of the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In his new role, Desjardins will oversee all of the arena’s business operations, the creation of new events, while looking for new revenue opportunities for the five-year old, 20,000-seat sports and entertainment arena which serves as the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Prior to joining AEG Facilities and CONSOL Energy Center, Desjardins spent 16 years serving as the General Manager for Oklahoma City’s 18,203-seat Chesapeake Energy Arena, home to NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder and the adjacent 100,000 sq. ft.
