BRIGHTON, UK (CelebrityAccess) — UK-based glam rock band Slade has been forced to pull the plug on their upcoming tour dates through February due to injury.
According to a post on the band's website, Slade frontman Dave Hill fractured his elbow after he collided with a cyclist while walking in Brighton on December 23rd.
The band says they will make an additional announcement in January, but as of now, their next scheduled show is set for March 18th at the holiday resort of Butlins, Skegness.
Hill was one of the founder members of the band which scored a string of hits in the 1970s with "My Oh My" and the appropriately seasonal "Merry Xmas Everybody." – Staff Writers
