NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers is teaming up with Live Nation to announce the inaugural Laid Back Festival.
Set to take place on August 29 in New York at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, the one-day event named after Allman’s seminal first solo record from 1973, will feature performances by: Gregg Allman, The Doobie Brothers, Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers, Jaimoe’s Jassz Band and City of the Sun, with more artists TBA.
THe festival also offers a curated sampling of regional restaurants, breweries and vineyards, including Guy Fieri’s BBQ, Paces Steaks, Harvest Moon Oysters, Swell Taco and Jamesport Vineyards among others.
