NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — The Italian operatic pop trio Il Volo has announced plans for a tour of North America in early 2016.
Comprised of tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto, and baritone Gianluca Ginoble, the tour gets underway with a performance at Kleinhans Music Hall in Buffalo, NY on February 5th and will conclude at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California on April 1st.
The tour will support the release of the group's fifth studio album "Grande Amore" which is due from Sony Music at the end of September.
The group will also promote the album with a performance at the ancient Roman ruins of City of Pompeii, marking the first time that an artist has performed at the site since Pink Floyd played there in 1971. The show will be broadcast as a part of special programming on PBS, beginning later this month.
