PHOENIX, AZ (CelebrityAccess) — An Arizona couple were married on stage during a Paul McCartney concert on Tuesday at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, with Sir Paul himself presiding over the propitious union.
According to the Arizona Republic, fans Andrea Copado and and her fiance Adam Kowal were invited on stage during McCartney's first encore after the singer noticed Copada's handwritten sign which read, "You're ordained. We're engaged. Please marry us tonight!"
McCartney proceeded to perform a short ceremony with the couple exchanging wedding vows after pointing out that he's actually not legally ordained.
The short ceremony was interrupted briefly by Covado, who paused amidst her own vows to tell the singer, "I love you," to which McCartney prompted her "But you love Adam more?" "That's debatable," Covado replied. – Staff Writers
