LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Live Nation Entertainment has named Jo Dipple to the post of Senior Vice President, Public Affairs, with a portfolio that includes both Live Nation and Ticketmaster internationally.
Dipple comes to her new role at Live Nation from UK Music, where she served as Chief Executive, and led a successful judicial review against the UK Government which blocked damaging legislation that would have disadvantaged artists and rights-holders.
As well, she oversaw the establishment of an industry-wide apprenticeship scheme, helped to launch industry diversity initiatives and fostered the compiling of new industry-centric economic data for decision and policy makers.
Prior to her gig at UK Music, Dipple served in the UK government as an advisor to the British Prime Minister. She was a special adviser at the Treasury and worked on two winning general election campaigns.
"Live Nation Entertainment is the world leader in delivering live entertainment. I am joining a hugely talented team of people, all of whom are passionate about fan and artist satisfaction across the world. I look forward to contributing to its continued success," Dipple said in a press statement announcing her hiring.
