INDIANAPOLIS, IN (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Dave Lucas’ Live-360 is upping the volume at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, bringing the country-music stage, known as the Amphitheater at Celebration Park, its first major rock groups this summer.
Billed as the WFMS Free Stage during the fair, the shed normally hosts free country performers, such as Dierks Bently, Sugarland and Gary Allen.
The first ticketed event at the venue will be the All-American Rejects. Indiana State Fair executive Director Cindy Hoye told the Indianapolis Star that Live-360 has a 50-50 agreement with the state fair to host the concerts.
“Normally, if you would rent a property here at the fairgrounds, there’s a cleanup fee and a utility fee and we keep concessions and parking,” Hoye told the paper. “This time, we’re willing to split (costs and proceeds).
“We hope it works, and we think there’s potential for future events.”
Future concerts at the site are expected to be announced in the near future. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
