LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Universal Music Group Chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge has been knighted.
Grainge was inaugurated to appointment to the Order of the British Empire CBE and Knight Bachelor by His Royal Highness, The Duke of Cambridge in a ceremony on November 29th.
The honor was intended to honor Grainge’s accomplishments in the music industry as well as his contribution to British business and inward investment and his development of new business models, technology, and media partnerships which have led to an expansion of UMG’s global presence.
