The Mean Fiddler Music Group has launched a new country radio station. Mean Country 1035 AM is now broadcasting 24-hours-a-day throughout London and the South East of England on AM1035 and DAB (digital audio broadcast). The radio station can also be reached from anywhere in the world at http://www.meancountry.com.
The Mean Country playlist will consist of songs drawn from all areas of country and country influenced music. Those tuning in can expect to hear the likes of Wilco, Giant Sand, Ryan Adams, The Pernice Brothers, Bright Eyes, The Flaming Lips, Yo La Tango, Lambchop and Counting Crows alongside core artists who will include Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison, Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Rogers, REM, Lyle Lovett, Emmylou Harris, Dwight Yoakham, Dixie Chicks, Van Morrison, Elvis Costello, Willie Nelson, The Everley Brothers, Neil Young, Glen Campbell and Johnny Cash.
