Music Photographer Chuck Pulin Dead At 69

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — New York-based music photographer Chuck Pulin died on April 20 o 21 at the age of 69. Pulin died in his sleep of unknown causes Billboard reported.

While not as high-profile as some other music industry photographers, Pulin was known for his dependability and professionalism, shooting hundreds, if not thousands of concerts and industry events during his career. Pulin, who got his start as a print journalist, moved into photography and became one of the leading stringers for Billboard magazine, shooting the likes of The Stones, Madonna, Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.

"He was at everything," Bottom Line's Allan Pepper told the Examiner's Jim Bessman "He was older than he looked, but had a youthful presence about him and was such a gentle soul."

According to Billboard, Pulin is survived by his girlfriend and his sister. No public memorial services are planned but his girlfriend said a party in his memory is being planned at yet-to-be-determined location. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
