DETROIT (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The long-awaited new album from legendary road rocker Bob Seger, “Face the Promise,” is set to hit stores on September 12th, with the first single, “Wait for Me,” being released in early July.
Seger has been working with longtime co-producer David Cole on his first release in 11 years, splitting his time between Nashville and Detroit for the recording.
Rumors of the musician hitting the road for his first tour since 1996 have been rampant in the Detroit press. Seger, who turned 61 last month, quit touring after getting married and having children in the ‘90s, then joking that he was too old to go back out in recent years.
The Detroit News received only a modest answer from manager Andrew Punch upon pushing for information: “Practices are schedule,” he said. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
